To END the cycle of traumatic childbirth and its aftermath by giving mothers the opportunity to have healthy pregnancies, safe and respectful childbirth experiences, and to birth happy and healthy babies.

Non-Hispanic Black women in Philadelphia have experienced alarming disparities in maternal health outcomes, with pregnancy-related deaths significantly higher compared to their non-Hispanic White counter
Philadelphia faces a critical gap in resources and SUPPORT for pregnant women and families, particularly within underserved communities. Non-Hispanic Black women in Philadelphia have experienced alarming disparities in maternal health outcomes, with pregnancy-related deaths significantly higher compared to their non-Hispanic White counterparts. Specifically, non-Hispanic Black women accounted for 73% of pregnancy-related deaths between 2013 and 2018, despite making up 43% of live births in the city.

Through our dedicated team of trained doulas and educators, we offer holistic, community-centered care that addresses the unique challenges faced by pregnant mothers.
